Gaming | I have a lifelong attachment to and passion for video games. | Gaming resources I'm currently checking out: Unreal Engine - Game Engine Unity - Game Engine Itch.io - Indie Game Hosting Marketplace |
Artificial Intelligence | It's extremely interesting to push the "bounds" on what we can do with technology. | Some Interesting Finds: AI Case Studies, Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research (JAIR), and Google AI |
Writing | I went to graduate school and received an MFA, because I love creating things... Just like coding, it's an amazing feeling to create something, see it through to fruition, and have it experienced by other people. | Check out a portion of my thesis screenplay here: The Device |
Programming! | Although I took a course or two back in highschool and during my early days in undergrad, I didn't discover the passion for it until early 2020. At that time I began self-teaching and taking classes online where my knowedge and love of programming grew. | Here are some of the great resources I used to help expand my knowledge in various languages and

As an operations manager serving Northern California in the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area regions, I serve as a liaison between Repipe Specialists sales representatives, sub-contractors, and our clients. I also frequently evaluate and reevaluate contracts for quality control purposes and to ensure that the work can be performed by the assigned sub-contractor. I regularly work with clients to resolve reported issues that arise due to resident, property manager, and/or homeowner concerns, inclement weather, emergencies or other issues that may cause delays.
As a service coordinator and dispatcher, I coordinated the daily schedules for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians, and scheduled routine and emergency HVAC services for over 400 clients across Los Angeles County. In addition, I served as a liaison between HVAC technicians and clients to facilitate fulfilling service requests.
Primarily a communications role, I led a social media marketing team consisting of a videographer and a graphic designer, and managed the social media content across various accounts including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. In addition to creating content targeted at university students, we assisted in the re-branding of the organization. I also co-managed an online database that aids students on their career journey and allows employers to connect with students and alumni.
As a graduate student in an M.F.A. program in Television, Film, and Theater with a focus on writing, I provided script coverage for screenplays and stageplays in multiple genres and collaborated with peers to develop scripts in genres including comedy, drama, and science-fiction. I was ultimately able to experience working in a variety of creative roles through different projects.
Graduate assistant for the Department of Television, Film, and Media Studies where I supported a faculty member with classroom tasks and administrative assistance.
I received my MFA in Television, Film, and Theater Arts with an option in Writing at California State University, Los Angeles. One of the best things about graduating from the program is the variety of work that I was able to do - I wasn't constrained to one medium. I was able to explore so many different types of writing, and if it wasn't for my lack of contacts in the gaming industry, my thesis would've been a full-fledged sci-fi video game script. But alas, my thesis became a wonderful sci-fi feature screenplay instead.
My father enlisted in the Army before I was born, which led to moving around quite a lot every few years. Between the ages of 10 and 18, I lived in Germany - Bad Kreuznach and Hanau - only returning to the states once in 1999 to visit my home state of California.
